To be a disciple is to walk with Jesus every day, not just on Sundays. It means learning from what He taught, following the way He lived, and letting that shape how we work, ride, love our families, and treat the people around us. Prayer time in God's Word, and brotherhood with other believers are how that faith grows.
Key Aspects of Discipleship
- Intentional Following: Following Jesus is a choice we make on purpose, again and again. We learn His ways, and over time He changes us to be more like Him.
- Community and Relationships: Nobody grows alone. Brothers who pray together, ride together, and lean on each other in the hard seasons keep one another strong.
- Daily Practices: Prayer, reading Scripture, and serving others, done every day, keeps us close to Jesus long after the ride is over.
Biblical Foundation
Before He returned to heaven, Jesus told His followers to go and make disciples, teaching and encouraging others to follow Him (Matthew 28:19–20). That command is the heart of this ministry.
Discipleship is not one decision we make and then move on, it is a lifelong road of growing in Christ, and then helping the next man grow too.
